These terms apply when you shop at Sri Jaya Supermarket, 43, Tana Street, Purasawalkam, Chennai 600007, place an order with us by phone or WhatsApp, or use this website. By doing any of these, you agree to the terms below.

1. Prices and availability

Prices shown in store, shared over phone or WhatsApp, or mentioned on this website may change without notice. The price on your final bill is the price you pay. All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will tell you and offer a substitute or leave it out. We will not add a substitute without asking.

2. Orders by phone and WhatsApp

• An order is confirmed once we share the total amount with you and you agree to it.
• We may decline or cancel an order if items are unavailable, the address is outside our delivery area, or the order details are unclear.
• For large or bulk orders, we may ask for part payment in advance.

3. Home delivery

• We deliver to Purasawalkam and nearby areas such as Anna Nagar, Egmore and Kilpauk. Other areas are at our discretion.
• Delivery times are estimates. Traffic, weather and order volume can cause delays.
• A delivery charge may apply depending on distance and order value. We will tell you before confirming.
• Please check your items when they arrive. Report anything missing or damaged at the time of delivery or as soon as possible on the same day.

4. Payment

We accept cash, UPI and cards. For delivery orders, payment is due on delivery unless agreed otherwise. Digital payments are processed by the respective bank or payment provider, and their terms also apply.

5. Returns and replacements

• Damaged, expired or wrong items will be replaced or refunded if reported within 24 hours with the bill.
• Unopened packaged items in original condition may be exchanged within 3 days with the bill.
• For hygiene reasons, opened food items, loose items weighed at the counter, fresh produce, dairy and personal care products cannot be returned unless they were defective at the time of sale.
• Refunds are made in the same mode as the original payment where possible.

6. Product information

Product details, ingredients and allergen information come from the manufacturer's packaging. Please read the label before use. We are not responsible for changes made by manufacturers to their products or packaging.

7. Website

This website is for information only. We try to keep it accurate, but store hours, products and prices may change. Photos are for illustration. Reviews shown on this site are taken from public online review platforms such as Google and magicpin and reflect the opinions of those customers.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the value of the items in that order. We are not liable for indirect losses or delays caused by events outside our control.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
